Lawrence Singleton

“Dr. Singleton is extremely knowledgeable, well-prepared, and an outstanding teacher. He anticipated our questions and explained the answers clearly.”

That comment from a telecommunications executive is typical of the plaudits received by Lawrence Singleton, an acclaimed speaker and writer on financial, managerial accounting, and auditing topics.

Dr. Singleton is an Associate Professor of Accountancy at The George Washington University in Washington, DC. He teaches financial accounting and managerial accounting to students in Master of Business Administration programs.

He is also the founder of Singleton Associates, a firm that provides training, consulting, and litigation support services to corporations, not-for-profit organizations, government agencies and professional services firms. Dr. Singleton frequently provides litigation support services and has frequently testified as an expert witness on accounting matters.

Respected for his research and published articles on various areas of accounting, Dr. Singleton has also co-authored sections of the book, The Ernst & Young Guide to Taking Your Company Public.

As those who have attended his sessions can and do testify. Lawrence Singleton is a master at making complex financial management and accounting issues clear and understandable.
